The earlier a puppy is introduced to grooming, the more confident and relaxed they'll be as they grow. Our Puppy Intro Pack is a gentle, three-session experience designed to build trust and help your puppy feel at home in the salon.
Session One – A gentle first step
Your puppy will explore the salon, meet the team, and get used to the tools, sounds, and smells. We introduce them to the grooming table and let them experience clippers, brushes, and dryers at their own pace, with plenty of cuddles and treats along the way.
Session Two – A soft introduction to grooming
Your puppy enjoys their first bath and fluff dry. Table training continues alongside a gentle introduction to grooming, always done at your puppy's pace to keep the experience positive.
Session Three – The big day
Now comfortable with the salon and the team, your puppy is ready for their first full groom. We take the time needed to make sure it stays relaxed and enjoyable, setting them up for a lifetime of happy grooms.

The earlier the better. Puppies can join the Puppy Intro Pack as soon as they are fully vaccinated, and we recommend booking as early as possible. The first months of a puppy's life are a critical window for positive experiences. A puppy introduced to grooming early, in a calm and gentle way, is far more likely to enjoy it throughout their life. We do not take puppies older than six months onto the programme.
We always try our best to group puppies together, though it does depend on bookings. When they come in together they feed off each other's confidence, which adds an extra layer of fun to the experience. Either way, each session is calm, full of treats, playtime, and positive learning, with plenty of time for your puppy to explore and settle at their own pace.
Each of the three sessions is two hours long. That gives us plenty of time to work at your puppy's pace, without rushing any part of the experience.
It is actually one of the most important reasons to book early. An anxious puppy that is not gradually introduced to grooming will often become harder to groom as they grow, and since grooming is something they will need throughout their life, setting them up well from the start makes a real difference. The programme is designed specifically to build confidence through positive, repeated experiences. We go at your puppy's pace, with plenty of praise and treats, and we never rush. The goal is for grooming to feel normal and safe, so that by the time your puppy is an adult, it already is.
