Meet the Team

I'm Keeley, and I've been part of the Hackney Barkers team since 2023.

My love for animals began early, growing up with my family's miniature poodle, Tilly, which sparked a lifelong appreciation for dogs and their individual temperaments. After completing a BA in Film Studies and an MA in Amsterdam, I initially pursued a career in video editing before finding myself drawn towards a more hands-on, animal-focused path. During the pandemic, time spent with my parents' Boxer, Hector, made that direction clearer.

I committed to retraining in 2022, completing a City and Guilds Level 3 Professional Diploma in Dog Grooming. In 2024, I competed in my first grooming competition, placing in my category. I have a particular interest in hand stripping and continue to develop my skills across a range of breeds and finishes.

I am known for my steady, professional approach, ensuring each dog is well cared for and comfortable throughout their appointment.
